Galyna’s journey with Dr. Schmidtberg started with her husband of 47 years! He broke a bone in his arm, and after an expeditious urgent care visit with X-rays and a complete exam, they were referred to Dr. Schmidtberg for further care.
Since her husband had a kidney transplant years ago, Dr. Schmidtberg shared that surgery wasn’t the ideal option, so they decided to go with a more conservative treatment plan first. Under Dr. Schmidtberg’s careful guidance, her husband’s healing went better than they could’ve hoped, and he never needed surgery. He’s still doing his exercises at home and feeling great, which left them both with such a positive impression.
When Galyna started experiencing excruciating pain in her wrist and hand, she didn’t think twice about who to see. Having seen how well her husband was cared for, she knew Dr. Schmidtberg was the one to turn to. Sure enough, after X-rays and a diagnosis of an arthritis flare-up, he recommended a wrist brace. A month later, she was feeling like herself again.
